| "Good, good. We'll go from there." Tom led Saint and Arianna to the back once again. "Saint can practice with this." Tom pointed at some wooden logs in the form of people. "They will attack, you block and strike. Everytime you succeed, it'll get harder, until we figure out your limit." Tom left Saint and turned to Arianna. "We'll start with controlling some elements." He brought her to a barren spot, then told her to sit. He grabbed a stick then drew a circle around her. "From here, any magic you posses will not go past the circle." Tom drew his hand, closed his eyes, and muttered something. He oppened his eyes. A clay cup filled with water formed in front of Arianna, in the circle. Then, a candle, then lastly, a knife. "These common household items contain the very escence of the most common elements. Earth, Fire, Water, Wind, Metal. Wind and water are already around you. But they are the most difficult to harness. You must draw out the elements from the objects. Clay for Earth, Candle for fire, the knife for metal. When you have controlled them, they will each form an orb. When they all form, they will combine, and strengthen your control." "Do you want to try?" Tom asked politely. |
