"I know, but the master thinks you did." the elf replied, "What were you doing fighting the creature all on your own?"

Alchemy looked away from the elf's handsome face.

"I was buying my friends time to escape." Alchemy replied, finally.

The elf watched Alchemy's reactions carefully.

"You did it to save Jack and Arianna." the elf stated.

The look on Alchemy's face did not waver or change in any way, but the look in her eyes told him that he had hit his mark.

"I mean you no harm, Lady Alchemy. My name is Remus and I am Lelanie's younger brother. I'm a friend of Raven's and Jack's." The elf explained.

"Why her?" Alchemy asked, changing subjects.

"Because she is the key, but he isn't after her. At least not yet. He is using her as bait." Remus answered.

"Why? And who is he really after?" Alchemy asked, her mouth gaping open.

"You. Along with Jack and Raven." Remus replied, simply.

Alchemy cocked an eyebrow.

"Why?" She asked again.

"To bring together the the three great powers. Power of the body, power of the mind, and power of the spirit and Arianna is the key to unlocking those powers." Remus continued.

"And you think that we are these great powers?! Give me a break." Alchemy scoffed.

"I and my sister are part of a secret order created to guard and protect the three powers and the key to unlocking them. Something went horribly wrong. The master found out about the ancient prophecy and went after the leader our order, your mother. She was killed in order to reveal the final secret of the prophecy." Remus continued.

"My mother? Ancient prophecy?" Alchemy echoed.

Flashback....

"My beloved Alchemy never forget who you are. And never forget to follow your heart where ever it might lead. My precious daughter never forget your kind spirit and loving heart for those are you greatest attributes and will one day save your life." A woman's voice echoed.

Back to the present...

"The prophecy says that when the three powers are combined that it create a force so powerful that it could either destroy the light or banish the darkness. Our leader had the final piece to this massive puzzle and it died with her the day she was murdered. The master covets the powers you and your friends possess and he wants it for himself. Or he will try to corrupt you and the others in order to fulfill his darkest desires. But there is something he didn't count on. Something that he would never have suspected or even dreamt was possible." Remus paused.

"What?!" Alchemy pressed.

"The master's own daughter has a one of the great powers." Remus continued.

"But that would mean that I'm...am I Remus?" Alchemy concluded.

"That's right, Alchemy. You are not only the daughter of our leader but you are also the master's daughter. That's why the power could go either way." Remus revealed.

Alchemy gasped. Tears welled up in her eyes, blinding her vision. Her breaths became shallow and quick.

"I can't believe it. I won't believe it!! It can't be true. It just can't be!!" Alchemy yelled, tears flowing down her face.

Remus got up and held her in his arms. He slowly released his energy to calm her frantic spirit. The lack of oxygen finally forced Alchemy's body to submit to the overwhelming fatigue. She collapsed like a rag doll into his arms. He gently laid her to rest.

"I shouldn't have told her." Remus whispered aloud, while stroking her crimson hair.
