"Aly and I were assigned on a mission after we completed K2. I couldn't go because they were still repairing my respirator. Aly left, with someone else. Assassination was the mission. A couple, Lazarus, who had adopted a child. That child was the Theif Lord's son. He stoke a deal with them for the boy. They wouldn't give him up. We were to.. kill them, then bring the boy to him." He took one more breath. "They died, but that was all Aly told me. She didn't tell me who killed them. Said I didn't deserve to know. The boy had run away. She said he was elusive, Theif Lord's son indeed! No one found him. Aly stuck with her new partner. I journeyed to find the amulet." He finished. "It looks bad, doesn't it?" He asked her. |
