| Aly's words knocked the breath right out of Arianna's lungs. She knew Ry was a thief, but the way Aly presented the fact... She couldn't breathe. Why did it bother her so much? Although Arianna attempted to collect her thoughts and maintain her naive exterior, her mind was a wreck. It was as if her brain had been shattered and she was trying to put it back together. Then something clicked. What did Aly do? How did Aly get her to lose control of herself and her thoughts? Arianna glanced at Aly, now back to her fake self, and then smiled at Ry again. She knew she needed to watch Aly, but now she wasn't completely sure about Ry. Arianna tried to shake the feeling of being unsure. She was always sure of people. |
