There are 53 cards in the deck (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A x suits + Joker) If we were to bet on the same card, there would be a 4/53 chance to hit it. As such, there would be a 12.6x payoff (same as the odds of a 2 appearing after a 3, or an A appearing after a K). Betting lower on an A (1.07) and on the same card (12.6) and profiting would require 100,000 on same = 1,260,000 1,260,000 on lower = 1,348,200 There would be no profit. |
