| General Certificate of Secondary Education This is the British equivalent to what i think would be the american SAT. these are qualification that help you get into College here in the UK, but here we also have the opportunity to go to what we call sixth form which is instead of a college you remain at a school in which they teach you your chosen subjects. GCSE's last 2 years Sixth Form lasts 2 years - Where you get A Levels which help you to get into a university. I am going into my second year of GCSE this new school year. Hopefully that helps, MM |
