| The first band that comes to my mind is Black Stone Cherry, but I warn you that they are kinda almost metal. The music has to much balls to be just rock, but the singing style and rhythm are deff southern rock... if that makes sense. Also, for every hard song they do, they pretty much have a ballad style song as well, so a pretty even mix... I usually suggest them to both rock and metal fans XD. They are a bit religious, but not overly so doesnt bother most people that dont like religious music. They have three albums currently, and pretty much every song is awesome if you like them lol.
