and addresses my 4th question of technological advances changing how we view privacy. But here is something else to consider. I don't think people in North America even experience bodily privacy in their homes. On top of the video survallence you mentioned, there is also satilite imaging, GPS in your phone, internet usage tracking software, thermal imaging, etc. I would even go so far as saying that over time bodily privacy will be nearly eliminated because of technology (except of course for cases like using the bathroom and such, but even that may change). |
