Sorry, habit of a historian. Number eight has a few tiny mistakes. The name Dracula means "Son of the Dragon". He did not actually nail hats on to people's heads...he had that done to a pair of visiting Turkish ambassadors. When they were told to remove their turbans they said they could not. This was in accordance with their religious customs. Vlad didn't care what the reason was and had his guards allow them to keep their turbans on....permanently via use of a very large nail. As for his death, no one actually knows how he died. It's rumored he may have been murdered, but it is also believed by many that he fell in battle, or that after a great victory one of his own men screwed up and killed him ( Stamp that guy with FAIL) Other than those little misses, very nice! |
