| First, there may only be about 10% of the ships out there with BAP, but i would guess that they account for at least 90% of the kills, if not more. I have NEVER gotten a log that reads: Your boat was attacked by So-and-So and you Won. The ones I get always end, "and you Lost." From that I conclude that people who are in any reasonable danger of losing naval battles, don't launch attacks on the water. The other issue is that the way ship battles are calculated means that as long as you've got about 5 points of speed on your opponent, you're effectively invulnerable. So anybody who gets 50 or 100 extra BAP and puts it all in speed is an instant Scourge-of-the-Oceans. |
