| One must take against thieves. For one, an example. While you were strolling the Dark Forest you could have avoided thieves and lost only 1% of your total gold had you turned on auto sweep. It is a feature in your bank that charges 1% of your gold on hand to sweep the rest to the safety of your bank account. You do need to turn it off when making market purchases, though. Careful not to accidentally withdraw gold to buy things while auto sweep is on. When it comes to bigger sums, when purchasing from the markets.. You really need to use tabs and suicide at somewhere like the Elite Palace of Telanka Tombs if possible.. You at least have some time, thieves might take a moment to seance you, unless they have that new ring with 100% guaranteed seance. Seances fail, another addition Felt added to try and give people a break and add some challenges to the seasoned thieves of Westland. Taking such precautions will help, you can be faster than the thieves. Don't feel too hit down by this, it happens to so many people and it's a part of the game people have adapted to. |
