Someone did calculate first 200 decimals or something like that. Most people only know that it equals 3.14 and have no idea that this is the number that could easily have O_O decimal places. Reason for this is - numbers never end nor repeat. So you try calculating it, lol. And just to make sure - ''While the decimal representation of π has been computed to more than a trillion (1012) digits, elementary applications, such as estimating the circumference of a circle, will rarely require more than a dozen decimal places. '' Now stop debating and stuff. |
